Kim Delaney (born Kim Delaney) is an American actor best well-known for her character of detective Diane Russell in ABCs NYPD Blue and for which she was awarded the Emmy Award. The most notable role she has played is her part in All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives. As the sole daughter to a senior executive of the United Auto Workers and a housewife, Delaney was raised with four brothers. While she had a childhood goal of becoming a journalist, it wasn't until her high school years that she began modeling.
